1. What makes Larchfield Cavapoos different from other breeders?

At Larchfield Cavapoos, we pride ourselves on our commitment to the health, happiness, and wellbeing of every puppy we breed. We breed a limited number of litters each year to ensure that every puppy receives the attention, care, and socialisation they need from day one. Our puppies are raised in our home, as part of our family, and are given the best start in life through health testing, early training, and daily care. We also offer ongoing support to all of our puppy families, creating a lifelong relationship.

2. How do I join your waiting list for a puppy?

We have a simple and straightforward waiting list process. You can apply to join by completing the Puppy Application Form on our website. Once your application is received, we will review it and get in touch with you within 48 hours. It's always a good idea to get in touch early, as our puppies are in high demand and are typically reserved before they are born.

3. How much do Larchfield Cavapoos puppies cost?

At Larchfield Cavapoos, we have a set price for both our Cavapoo and Cockapoo puppies. We understand that there are cheaper puppies available out there, but we believe the price we set reflects the premium care and attention we give to each and every one of our puppies.

Our puppies are raised in a loving, family environment with no corners cut. From their early days of socialisation and training to the health screening and veterinary care they receive, every aspect of their care is handled with the utmost professionalism and dedication. We use only high quality food, offer vaccinations, ensure microchipping, and provide comprehensive puppy packs to set them up for success in their new homes.

We offer lifelong support to all of our families because we genuinely care about the wellbeing of the puppies we raise. As a Level 3 qualified professional in canine welfare and behaviour, I bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to ensure that you receive all the guidance you need. I am always available to answer your questions and provide the necessary support throughout your puppy's life.

By choosing a puppy from Larchfield Cavapoos, you're investing in a healthy, well-adjusted puppy that will become a lifelong companion. We believe the quality of care we offer justifies the price, and we are committed to helping you raise the best dog possible.

4. What health testing do you do for your breeding dogs?

At Larchfield Cavapoos, the health and well-being of our dogs is our top priority. All of our breeding dogs undergo comprehensive health testing to ensure they are free from any genetic conditions that could be passed onto their puppies.

We pride ourselves on the fact that all of our dogs are healthy and have no pre-existing conditions. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of health for our breeding dogs and would never breed a dog that has any health issues or genetic concerns.

Before any breeding takes place, we carry out extensive health checks and genetic screenings to ensure that both the mother and father are in optimal health. This helps guarantee that the puppies we produce are as healthy as possible and have the best chance of growing into well-adjusted, happy dogs.

By choosing a puppy from us, you're not just choosing a loving companion—you're also ensuring that your new puppy has the best possible start in life, with a healthy genetic foundation. We provide full documentation of health screenings and tests, so you can feel confident in your decision to welcome a Larchfield Cavapoo into your home.

5. Are your puppies raised in a family environment?

Yes! All of our puppies are raised in our home, where they are exposed to everyday sights, sounds, and experiences.  At Larchfield Cavapoos, we believe that raising puppies in a home environment, rather than a kennel, offers significant benefits for both the puppies and their future families. Here's why:

  • Early Socialisation: Home-raised puppies are exposed to a variety of sounds, sights, and experiences from the moment they’re born, which helps them develop into well-rounded and confident adults. They interact daily with our family, including children, and are introduced to household noises, which helps them adapt more easily to life in your home.
  • Emotional Development: Puppies raised in a home environment benefit from constant human interaction, allowing them to bond more closely with people and develop a healthy attachment to their families. This early attachment encourages a stronger, lifelong bond between the puppy and their new owner.
  • Better Health Monitoring: In a home environment, we’re able to provide individual attention to each puppy’s health and well-being. They get more consistent monitoring and care, which allows us to address any health issues promptly. Being in our home also reduces stress factors, as puppies don’t have to adjust to a new, unfamiliar environment when they leave.
  • Clean, Comfortable, and Stimulating Environment: Unlike a kennel, where space is often shared with multiple other animals, each of our puppies is raised in a clean, safe, and comfortable space, which includes ample room for play and sleep. The relaxed home setting allows them to grow and develop in an environment full of love and attention.
  • Early House Training & Good Habits: We start basic training with the puppies from an early age, including potty training, crate training, and other essential behaviours. Because they are raised in a home, the puppies are naturally more familiar with house routines and human interaction, making them easier to settle into your home and daily life.

By raising our puppies in a home setting, we ensure that they not only receive the best start in life but also the emotional and social foundation they need to thrive in their new forever homes.

6. What is included in the puppy pack?

Each puppy leaves with a comprehensive puppy pack, which includes:

  • Veterinary Health Check (copy of the report)
  • First Vaccination (Nobivac Lepto 4 DHP, second vaccination to be completed by you)
  • Microchip documentation (a video confirming microchip)
  • Worming & Treatment Record
  • 5 Weeks Free Pet Insurance with Agria
  • Wellness Core Puppy Food (at least a two-week supply)
  • Scented Blanket & Toys (including a heart-beat lamb toy)
  • Detailed Care & Training Information (to help you with feeding, toilet training, socialisation, and more)
  • Whatsapp Group Access (with other littermates for continued support and updates)

7. How do I prepare for the arrival of my puppy?

We provide a comprehensive guide on preparing for your puppy’s arrival, which includes setting up a safe space, gathering essential supplies, and establishing a routine. It's important to create a safe and comfortable environment for your puppy and start building positive habits from day one. You’ll also want to plan for things like vaccination schedules, microchipping, and puppy-proofing your home. WhatsApp Group Access (with other littermates for continued support and updates)

8. Do you offer ongoing support after I bring my puppy home?

Absolutely! We offer full support throughout the entire process, from joining the waiting list to your puppy settling into their new home. You’ll have access to a WhatsApp support group with other families from your puppy’s litter, where you can share updates, ask questions, and get advice. We are always just a message away and happy to offer any guidance or help.
